Yes, it's true, we do live better, burning through the ether and the passions which brings us fully into focus in our sometimes round the clock sojourns here. There are no windows, except the ones to our souls, and we have the power to make it day or night, black or white. Pretty amazing, and the panel reminds me this week of this.
This week's Designing Worlds was a very special one for us. We featured the exhibition in Second Life by the University of Oxford's First World War Poetry Digital Archive, which aims to place the Archive's content in a more accessible and three-dimensional context. The result was a very powerful and moving programme, which went out between Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, and features music by the wonderful UK folk singers Coope Boyes & Simpson.
(this is published on my blog but I felt it was justified to publish here)
I began to notice changes leading to a new view on the world we call SecondLife and the Metaverse. Perhaps you've noticed many of your friends are on less (I am not talking about those who've left the Metaverse). They are spending time in Blue Mars or at Rezzable Open Grid.
If any of you watch the LaurenLive clips this month I would be appreciative to hear your criticisms. Also, if anyone visits LaurenLive regularly. Thanks!
This Sunday Nov 8th 6PM slt New Directions for Business and Education in Second Life.
As you may have heard, last week's Designing Worlds was rather unusual. As it was our closest show to Halloween we decided to do something a bit different, and while the programme started reasonably normally, it soon went off in a rather different direction.
Once again we get to see RL fashion in Second Life!
Boudoir Designer Vitabela Dubrovna who has bought her real world shop and designs to Second Life. Vitabela creates some really beautiful dresses and is just as creative in Second Life. Make sure you tune in to see this Fabulous designer and why she decided to bring her line into SL.
This was a great week, and full on for Halloween for the tinies took center stage in their trick or treat best. Oh Scary! Break out cuteness alert! A koala with a pet ghost and a fox in a devil costume are pretty over the top, especially when they fall down and go BOOM!
This Week Oct 25th 09 Sunday 6pm slt on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe.
Yes it was a top show, we had a great turnout as usual and the panel was all shall I say it?
