FAQ
1. Has SLCN Gone Away?
In January 2010, the creators of SLCN launched Treet TV, the next step forward in virtual television. Treet combines everything learned at SLCN with advances in production and quality.
Most shows that were part of SLCN have changed production over to the new look and are already under the Treet TV banner. Don't worry, you will still be able to watch old archives here at Treet Archives for a while, but treet.tv will offer shows, plus a lot more and we encourage you to visit http://treet.tv.
2. What is Treet?
Treet is the world's first virtual TV network, bringing virtual world residents entertaining shows like Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe, Metanomics, Global Online Hockey and Giant Snail Races. We have also produced a wide range of special programs such as the Best Practices in Education Series, and even press events for the Transformers and Die Hard film launches.
The Treet network reaches a broad demographic with an established range of entertainment, sports and in-depth business shows. Every show is broadcast live as it happens, then archived on the website, published on iTunes as a podcast, and added to our eight (that's right eight!) inworld channels running 24/7.
3. Do I have to have a Second Life account to watch Treet TV?
No, you can view all shows right here on Treet Archives, the Treet TV website or download the shows using our podcast feeds.
4. I want to advertise my product or service on Treet TV, how can I do that?
We can create custom packages that best promote your business. Treet offers targeted Shopping Showcase and Business Showcase distribution. Contact us for more details at info@treet.tv
5. How can I submit a show idea?
We love hearing from people who have ideas for shows and the ability to put a team together to make it happen. The first step for getting your show live on Treet TV is to contact us at info@treet.tv
6. How can I get my event promoted or broadcast on Treet?
There are a couple of ways that you can get coverage on Treet TV.
Many shows interview residents about special projects and events. Send an email to info@treet.tv with details and we can pass that on to a production team or contact show producers directly for more info.
Treet TV is interested in filming special events. Please drop a notecard to Texas Timtam with information about the day/time of the event, content, expected audience, if music will be original or covers and some details about your promotional campaign for the event.
7. How do I subscribe to the podcasts?
The podcast feed addresses can be found at this address: http://treet.tv/content/pages/feeds
